Galaxy 14-Barbarians 13
In a battle of unbeatens and first place teams, the defending champions, Galaxy came out on top, by the skin of their teeth. Galaxy now hasn't lost since game two of the 2006 semis against Colins, a streak of 8 games. Galaxy jumped out to an early 13-0 lead after a bat-around bottom of the first. The Barbarians, resiliant in every sense of the word, put the hammer down after a sloppy start to the game. Galaxy grabbed one more run in the second but were held scoreless for the remainder of the game. The Barbarians however, scored in each of the next 6 innings and had the bases loaded, down one, with two outs for Matt Pressman, already with a home-run, who grounded to Ricky Madden to seal the game. Galaxy now sits atop the division as the lone team at 3-0.
