"Wednesday's Greensox game Rained out"
If only that was the headline on the front page of the Greensox Times. Unfortunetly the Greensox suffered a devastating 19-7 loss at the hands of the Barbarians. The story of the game were the Barbarians bats. What started out as a defensive battle with each team trading blows was tied at three through four. The Barbarian's bats came alive in the fifth, a five run inning capped by a 3-run shot by Tony Nacoshia. The Greensox were outwitted tonight, shown by the patience and the aptatude to take strikes by the Barbarians batters. The Greensox have now fallen to 1-2, and the Barbarians climb to a two way tie for the division lead at 2-0, coming into a game with fellow division leader Galaxy.
