Greensox 21-Tides 10
The story of this blowout was a good game plan that was executed by the Greensox, some good at-bats, and dominant pitching. The Greensox, playing their first game in their new uniforms really took it to the upstart Tides team who started their player/manager Tom King. King struggled from the beginning in his first career start. The Greensox batters showed good patience and scored in every inning. Zach Taylor had a breakout game at the plate with two home-runs and five RBI. James "Patrick" O'Leary was dominant on the mound allowing only 3 runs in six innings. He was featuring some new baseball pants that barely fit around his robust posterior. Mike O'Brien came in for an inning and let up seven runs giving him an ERA of 49.00 for the season. Another great game for the Greensox as they climbed over .500 for the first time this season.
Also of note: The Greensox are currently on pace to break the single season attendance record for Nahant Softball, as this game was their second consecutive sell-out.
