On Friday the Galaxy kept their winning streak alive with a decisive win over the Tides who continue to struggle with lineups as well as off the field problems. Monday NFL won a huge game against a heavily favored Barbarians team giving them their fourth loss of the year. This game was close throughout as an up and down battle eventually came to a tie at the end of seven. After eight it was still knotted up at twelve. Jimm Moleti held the Barbarians potent bats in the top to give NFL a chance to take home a win. In the bottom, a Bobby Brown (no relation to Whitney) walk, followed by a Jamie O'Connell single gave NFL a chance to seal the deal. Nick "NickyPap" Papagelis stepped into the box and the Barbarians didn't know what to do with the big fella. With one out it seemed like a no-brainer to walk him and give them a double play opportunity. They decided to pitch around him. Pap stepped up in the box and sent a pea out and over the right fielder to secure a monumental win for team NFL.
