The Kelley Greensox triple-A affiliate, Nahant Fish and Lobster notched their second and third wins, coming in back-to-back games on friday and monday. On friday NFL dismantled a struggling Tides team, who made their way into the bottom of the standings. Monday, in a fantastic game, NFL made a comeback to beat the Knights, 13-12. The big story in this game was Dave Barille, who was back on the hill after a brief stint on the DL. Barille pitched well, but lost it down the stretch. The Knights employ a pitch-till-you-lose requirement, so the ball will be back in Mike Kelleher's hands for their upcoming game against the Tides. Down 12-3 this game looked wrapped up for the underated Knights team who were coming of two solid performances. The NFL who are ever-improving, scored 10 un-answered runs to make the score 13-12 heading into the bottom of the seventh. With runners on second and third with two out, Jim Moleti induced a ground ball up the middle. Ranging to his left Jim "Ozzy" Osborne made a stab and threw to first to Mike "Scoopy" Spinnucci who dug it out of the dirt, sealing another win for NFL.
