Kelly Greensox 4 - Barbarians 3

In a defensive battle that was played with new restricted flight balls, the Sox came out on top in an exciting one run game. "Its like hitting a bag of oatmeal", claimed one of the Barbarians. The Greensox ace, Big James "Patrick" O'Leary had a no hitter through four, and ended up yielding 4 hits and no earned runs. The Greensox defense was stellar, except for a mental lapse in the third, giving the Barbarians three runs, to tie the game. The Barbarians also played some great defense but couldn't come up with the big hits and stranded a healthy number of runners. The Barbarians have now lost two straight and fall to fourth in the standings. The Greensox are now alone in second at 7-3 coming into a matchup with the first place Brickyard.
Also of Note: Four Greensox players went to Kelley Greens shortly after last night's game for a free pizza. Immediately Mike O'Callahan(the owner of Kelley Greens) confronted the Greensox players. "I'm sitting here having a meeting with someone, and you guys come flying in here, reaking of booze and reefer, and all you want is free food. In no way is Kelley Greens associated with the Greensox, and we are not your sponsor."-Mike O'Callahan
